The Laidishine SPU series vertical freezer lights feature a lens design to optimize light efficiency, but customers often encounter subpar illumination outcomes due to confusion over left-right orientation during installation. This article provides detailed guidelines for proper left-right installation of SPU vertical freezer lights, helping you achieve optimal light distribution with ease.
Please take the time to read this installation guide before you install the lighting fixtures and LED power supply
- Ensure that this installation is performed by a fully qualified/certified professional electrician in accordance with the local and national safety codes.
- Before electrical installation, maintenance, or cleaning, the circuit must be disconnected from the mains and secured against being switched on again.
- The light source of this lamp is not exchangeable! When the light source has reached the end of its life, the entire lamp must be replaced.
- Don’t connect the LED light directly to AC power. Check the local voltage in accordance with the requirements of the product before using the product, and choose the proper switching power supply according to your local voltage.
- To allow for variance in the installation, it is not recommended to load the power driver beyond 90% of its rated maximum power.
- If the LED driver has a lower protection class (per esempio., IP20) than the lamp (IP65), please make sure that the power supplies are installed on the refrigerated counters according to the standards.

Step 1: Confirmed the right direction of the light fixture.
Which is the right side? Thin lens for SPU Series: The stronger light/thicker lens faces the display products, while the weaker light/thinner lens faces the other side
Step 2: Confirmed the right direction with brackets
NOTES:
- There are two sides to be installed by our brackets; please pay attention to the correct side.
- If the switching power supply is at the top, V1 is installed on the left side, and V2 is installed on the right side.
- 1200mm needs 3 PCS brackets. Please check the quantity of brackets for non-standard sizes with our team
